777 THE NUMBER OF THE WOLPERTINGER TOUR 2008!!! 7 Städte, 7 Tage, 7 Stunden Streetsession pro Tag - das ist das Motto der im Mai 2008 stattfindenden 777 THE NUMBER OF THE WOLPERTINGER TOUR. Das komplette QUIKSILVER-Skateteam geht im Motörhead-Nightliner auf Tour. Hotels werden nicht gebraucht denn der Bus ist mit 17 Betten, TV-Lounge, Küche, Minibar und einem Dusch-Trailer ausgestattet, somit können die Fahrer zu jeder Zeit und an jedem Ort skaten. Gehalten wird direkt an den jeweiligen Spots. Dort geht's dann für mindestens 7 Stunden in heftigster Street-Session Manier zu Werke ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste. Das Spektakel wird zudem auf Video mitgeschnitten um eine später erscheinende 777-DVD aus dem Material zu produzieren.

After a hard week full of skateboarding Roman Astleitner (Aut) & Andy Scott (Gb) decided to enter the "Wängl Tängl" team comp! After qualifying first for the finals they boys also showed great skateboarding during their 3 minute final show! Especially Andy is an exceptionally gifted skateboarder! The crowed was stoked, and Roman & Andy happy with their first place and the price money of 4000$. Also two other Muckefuck team riders Stefan Atzl and Ralf Edlinger skated a really good qualification but bailed a little bit too often at their final run...anyway a nice contest format and really good skateboarding of all the teams! More to come....eöhhhh!!!

Seeing Roman Astleitner, the Initiator of the 5th KOTR, was knocked out half an hour before the Contest started, while clashing with the "D-Train" aka Ferit Batir, it is now on my behalf to write a few words about the Sk8boarding Mini-Ramp-Madness that was going down this past weekend in Wörgl / Tyrol (Austria). Anyway after a break of some hours but still with a pale face Roman gathered strength again and skated in one of the last heats and entered the finals! Tons of Sk8ers from all over the Globe made their way to Tirol. We had Brazil in the house, Spain, France, Germany, England, Finland, Belgium, Czech Republic and many more including last but not least the Austrian Locals. Holding it up strong all weekend and giving the other shred heads a really hard time. Especially Ferit was making it close to impossible

The legendary "King of the Ramp" Contest is celebrating it's 5th anniversary on the 1st of March 2008. For the first time in our Contest history the session will not take place in our private indoor facility in Kufstein. For this jubilee we organized a sensational location at the ALPEWA building(about 1000 m2) in Bruckhäusl / Wörgl.The 21 m wide ramp setup provided by "IOU-RAMPS" will be pimped with special Red Bull obstacles! Also the prize money has increased to € 5000,--. Europe's top transition junkies will fight during the spectacular "death-match-modus", for the money and the 2008 title. At the "best trick show" riders can win XXL brew for their thirsty throats and a pot filled with cash! We will also try to organize a live stream for those of you who can't make it to Tyrol! There will also be a pre-qualification limited to 20 riders on Friday! Inscription only possible via email: registration@muckefuckskateboards.com

Von Sonntag bis Dienstag fand auf der ISPO ein fetter Miniramp Contest statt! Eine 21 Meter breite Rampe von IOU wurde extra für diesen Event gezimmert. Die besten Miniramp Fahrer Europas wurden zu dieses Session eingeladen und kämpften um ein Preisgeld in Höhe von 8.000 Euro. Umso erfreulicher war der Finaleinzug von Muckefuck Team Rider Roman Astleiter, der schlussendlich den 8. Platz belegte! Die Miniramp ist schon in Wörgl und wird für das 5. Jährige Jubiläum des „King of the Ramps“ am 1.3.2008 in der ALPEWA Halle (Bruckhäusl / Wörgl) wieder aufgebaut! Nähere Infos dazu kommen in den nächsten Tagen!

Want a piece of concrete at your local spot? We come to make it happen!
The original plan with the skate plaza died because the main gas pipe for Tirol runs straight through the skate park and it's not allowed to overbuild the pipe. Just with a safe distance of 4 meters to the gas pipe we got the permission to start our work. Due to shortage of space we decided to build a second concrete bowl. Check out some pics here!
Many thanks go to the guys from the PTR Crew and all the locals for helping to realise this project in such a short time. Watch out for the upcoming PTR project in Sweden!

Report: The third year of the Eastpak Skateboard BBQ Tour in Austria was a great success again. As an open session, amateur skateboarders as well as pro riders can participate at the skate BBQs. Thus, every one of the 5 tour stops in Austria saw heaps of young talents ripping the obstacles together with the big names of the Austrian scene. Skateboarding on all levels combined with a big barbeque and DJ tunes makes the tour a really special thing.The first stop was the Ride & Rock event in Graz. Besides skateboarding, there were also BMX shows and a live concert with Rodriguez on the program. Just like in the years before, Villach was stop number 2. Many kids took the chance to skate together with the teams G-Love and Muckefuck. Stop number 3, Helfenberg, saw by far the most participants. The approximately 1,000 inhabitants of Helfenberg witnesses Skateboarding of the highest level. Both the Radix and the Muckefuck team enjoyed inaugurating the brand new concrete park. Hall in Tirol was next. Many top dogs of the Tyrolean skateboarding scene made their way to Hall in order to occupy miniramp and street parcour. Gorgeous weather and juicy meat made it a pleasure to hang out in the park!The last stop was Vienna Oberlaa. Many kids appeared and had the pleasure to meet rarely seen legends like Markus Ostermann, Michaeln Tanzer, Alex Duda and Roland Paula. Instead of the barbeque, Tim from Fame Skateshop organised sound, rolls and beer.

It's done!! We have finished our brand new concrete bowl in Woergl at 4 o clock this morning. The Bowl is located 15 kilometres from the Cradle Skate Park (Brixlegg). Big thanks go to all the guys who spent lots of time and hard work in making this project possible! Zurueck vom U-travel Skateboardcamp aus Bilbao. Im Gepaeck massig Fotos und Videomaterial der vergangenen Tage. Perfekte skate Spots, wie man sie bei uns nicht findet, super Wellen zum surfen oder einfach nur zum schwimmen, eine Woche lang "fiesta" mit unzaehligen Live Acts internationaler Top Bands; alles was das Herz begehrt! Am letzten Tag fand auch noch der Globe Bowlbash in Algorta statt, bei dem sich Roman Astleitner fuer das grosse Finale in Eindhoven qualifizieren konnte!
Am Freitag (15.9) sind wir mit der Barbecue Tour zu Gast in Helfenberg. Beginn ca. 14:00 Uhr. Gratis Barbecue und massig Sachpreise fuer alle Skateboarder. Mit dabei das MUCKEFUCK und das Radix Team.
